Been to Podiatry and.....

Bit of not so good news. My left foot has developed another hole below a bone, they are concerned about it and it may still lead to below knee amputation!

I'm taking two steps forward and three back all the time, I'm just so fed up, is it worth it?

Ian

I know it is just at times it is hard to see why.

Hi Ian

I've only just read this, and I am so sorry that yet again you have to go through such another stressful period in your life.

I really hope that things will be okay, regardless of what happens you've got us.

Big hugs Ian

Sorry to hear about this Ian, poor you that's devastating. Do you have diabetes or something that will stop it healing, or the circulation is bad in your feet. It sounds terrible and I feel really really sorry for you. Maybe things will turn out ok and they won't need to go that far. All the best of luck with it and look after yourself.

Sorry to hear your news Ian! Try to stay positive - you've done brilliantly so far with all you've been through; Keep your sugars down, watch your diet, rest etc;etc.....you know the ropes and don't focus on amputation but on getting better! easy for me to say I know but i've seen so many patients go through similar things and staying as positive as you can really does help.
We're here if you need us, you know that!
