Lynne, you must be terribly worried, but there are many innocent things which might have stopped him getting in touch. A lot of ex-pats stay in a hotel for the first few months then move into an apartment but often the phones are not working and it takes a bit of pushing to get them connected. I'm sure it'll sort itself out soon but you're bound to be worried never the less.

Thats what we are hoping but we don't understand why he hasn't let work know he wouldn't be in.

Im really sorry to hear this, Hopefully its just something simple. Please keep us updated, thinking of you. and fingers crossed for good news soon to ease your mind! Try and get some sleep I know its easy to say but you not sleeping isnt going to help. Take care of your self..
