Some are really rubbish...if you're gonna try them make sure you can return them if they aren't any good...best to have someone recommend some good ones that definitely do work

yes we used to use one to link our sky tv to son's bedroom from our bedroom. We had no probs with it at all. It was just a cheap one from argos - about £30 I think.

Thanks for that Sal. We currently have our TV in a 'noisy' location and we have a room where I would like a second set so I'll have to think about these but would need a lot more than 30ft. range and our walls are 2ft. thick so might be a problem

But, please do update us if you get one and tell us if it works OK

They sound interesting we have cable tv in Harlow and we now have a digibox from Virgin for film-flex etc., and sometimes we would like to watch late films in bed because it is more comfortable.

Sounds like that may be a good idea rather than thinking about another box.

You apparently can't use them for cable/virgin TV.

We bought one, and tried and tried to get it to work....did some research and found out you can't use them for cable.
Well........you can, but you need extra hardware, and they can't be sent through the cable box, you have to re-route them through something else (like a video/dvd player)

Well I was looking into it as I don't fancy paying another £10 a month subscription on top of we are already paying a month for multi room.
