I don't care for any of the politicians , they all seem to be doing the job for what they get out of it rather than for altruistic reasons like improving the country, and those that start out with `good intentions' seem to abandon them once in power. I guess the best people do not choose to be politicians,they are to busy doing useful jobs and helping people.

Very few exceptions. The late John Smith comes to mind. 'Why am I in politics? - To speak for the people with no voice'. A sad loss and one of a very few decent people in a very dirty job.

A lot of what he's done has worked fine for me and Mrs S, though! The bits that haven't are just silly.

Gill I can relate to that the worst thing is fruit juice and finding the carton almost empty and being told 'I didn't want to take the last drop' or going to the cake tin and finding a piece left the thickness of a razor blade ..not eaten because 'I did not want to take the last slice'

That definately makes two of us. He is a smarmy smirking B****ard. I think the whole labour party thinks we are so stupid we cannot make a decision for ourselves and need their nanny state to survive. They all have this self rightoues smile.

However I am also with Mini here, the whole lot of them are not worth a light but I find Conservatives at least less PC than the others.
