Wow...I've heard the complete opposite! I have a genital piercing (OMG - hurt like something ELSE), my navel and my tongue (barely felt)...no way would I do my nipple after all of the horror stories I've heard!!!

Really, it didn't hurt? I've been told that it's the worst pain anyone's ever felt, from 2 separate people that have had it done!!

My tattoos didn't hurt bad...the back of my ankle band hurt like crazy but that was only while he was on the tendon.

My nipples hurt like nothing on earth! - mine weren't frozen though! The only piercings that were frozen were my lips!
I actually cried!

I have a genital piercing - didn't hurt at all! Was the easiest piercing I've had done!

My tattoos hurt a lot, but thats cos of my health (I bruise easy, and have no immune system)! (Oh, and i'm a wuss!)

***Don't get it frozen!***

Freeze spray is dodgy, it prolongs healing, adds to swelling, isn't sterile, can cause allergic reactions and even frostbite!

Xylocaine is the only form of anaesthetic I've used, it comes in a squirty bottle not a spray, but it only works on mucous membranes (genitals, inside nostril, inside lip, tongue) and still isn't totally risk free (can also cause allergic reactions)

Very true! Never had it for a piercing but my colleague got me to open my mouth once then squirted it in...makes you feel like you're dribbling and I'm sorry but no matter what the manufacturers say it does NOT taste like banana!!
