In previous years my 6 yr old dog hasn't been overly bothered by fireworks but someone let off some bangers right outside the house in the middle of the night and it seems to have unnerved him and he has become very stressed this year to the point that he got himself into such a state he couldn't calm down and eventually suffered what the vet has described as a stress induced seizure at 5am on Nov 4th, it was terrible. Since that night he had to have diazapam for the rest of the firework season.
