What your dog sees

Should more things (like agility equipment/dog toys) be blue? so that our dogs can see them more clearly.

Interesting point - yes I wonder about blue with yellow contacts might be better for a dog
I have noticed how they struggle with a red ball

My dog would probably consider petitioning that all squirrels should be blue with yellow tails so he stands a chance of spotting them (he ain't the brightest).

That's strange, I have noticed time and time again that mine aren't interested in anything blue, flourescent orange, red or yellow are the colours they like.

Strange that because my last dog would always play with a yellow ball or a lime green one but never the red or blue one. My bitch will play with red or yellow balls but again ignores the blue one unless its the only one there.

Ben and Tai seem to be able to see red and shocking pink the best.

My dogs will chase any colour ball... as long as it`s moving.

Same here - colour doesn't seem to make much difference - it's more about movement.
