From DDAWatch, about a month back:

I have had a huge number of emails and message re Bruce so figured ill start a thread here and if there is news, ill post it here.

firstly despite some rumours, bruce has not been destroyed. As far as all are aware he is alive although still being held.

In September a hearing of sorts took place. All we know is that either a judgement or a second date should be given two weeks later. To date there has been no news. This is not unusal, legal situations never run quickly nor smoothly.

Shannon has not seen bruce since the start of the year. At that visit his condition was better than the visit before but we have no idea how he is now.

Bruces story hit the BBC news and a new proposal is going forward in NI with public consultation due to start next week. All we can do is wait.

If any news comes through I will post as i hear it. Keep spreading bruces tragic story and help stregthen his chances of coming out of this alive.
From Bruce's owner, about two weeks back:

heya! sorry i havnt been n touch, i havnt herd any more myself! havnt been given date or anything for next court case but will let use no wen i find out!
thank u all 4 still supporting my lil Bruce! xXx

Was more of a non-update, really.

It's all incredibly frustrating.

I didn't want to sound negative and say it appears that nothing much is happening and anything encouraging I had to say sounded patronising.

Bearing that in mind....... to his campaigners, this one dog seems to represent so many and I hope to god it makes a difference eventually.
