2 Collies and a Gundog

The dogs and I went to Sherwood Forest today and it was a glorious day but very cold!

Lovely pics, can definately see the Slovakian in Flynn.

Having had more experience with GWPs as opposed to SRHP's I can only see GWP in him so, out of genuine interest, what makes you say that?

A SRHP breeder at the Midland Game Fair last year said Flynn had the coat of a SRHP (but then their coats tend to differ like with HWV's) but then i've also had GWP experts at the breed club day say you would never know he wasnt a full GWP.

Mainly looking at the body and head shape. As you say about the coat, it could be either or...Slovaks like GWP's can have a more sparse/tighter wiry coat like Flynn or can be really hairy, like my SRHP is.

Most GWP's from what I've seen are a bit fuller in body than most SRHP's. Slovaks tend to take on their Weimaraner ancestors body shape more.
