Most dogs are meant to be thinner than we keep them---if a dog loses too much weight on a food then feeding more would be my first option.

I think Burns is the best of the dried foods by a long way.

I swear by Burns and Fish4Dogs. Both excellent. Kibble makes up 1/2 my two's diet. The rest is home-cooked veg/herbs/meat or fish, with weekly raw bones and they look fab.

Agree that it's horses for courses. My dogs look fab on Burns: great coats, good skin, perfect weight, and they are both super-active terriers

In my opinion the best dog food is.....

Whatever good quality food they like and do well on.
We are currently using "Best Choice" - really high quality - cheaper than food of similar quality, and most importantly, the dogs love it and look great!

Vinnie won't eat dry food alone so he has a tin of chappie, mixed with half a tin of tuna, and some harringtons dried food (I think the harringtons and the tuna is the healthiest part of that meal) I've been unable to find a healthier moist food with a bigger real meat percentage, anyone know of any?

Hes happy enough of it but Im sure there must be healthier option out there

Ooh, strange! My pup would probably trade me in for that food! Did you try changing the flavour?
