Dog grooming on human's - not a good idea

Thought i would share a funny story with you. At mine and jessie's first show, i purchased a new lead and my first pair of thinning scissors.

They have been sat in my grooming box for a couple of weeks untouched.

On thursday evening i had one of my bright ideas, i have been growing my hair (it was one length, half way down my back) for a few years. People say i am lucky as i have "nice, thick hair" i don't quite agree.

I had the bright idea of thinning it out abit with my new doggy thinning scissors.

I've watched hairdressers many a time and they just chop away and it's lovely.

So thats what i did, chop, chop, chop. Pull lots and lots of hair and yes it was definately thinner

Get up friday to realise that i have chopped masses of my hair off, some of it was only about 2" long now

Never a good idea, i put it up for work on friday, but did give the girls a laugh, when i showed them what i had done.

On the good side...... i had a really short haircut done friday evening (didn't have a lot of choice) and it looks brilliant. I have had nothing but complements, so all in all it worked out well.

I do think we should have pictures...

I can remember when my little sister got carried away watching tv and was snipping away at her hair without realising... she cut loads of it out (it was thick and all the way down her back) but thankfully it was underneath so it grew back virtually unnoticed

I think at 36 years old i should be growing out of the "cut my own hair" stage.

You cant tell us a story like that without the pictures to go with it.

Glad your hair dresser managed to come to your rescue.
