An evening walk with Jake, Millie and Paddy (Pic heavy!)

Some of the pics aren't in focus, i had the wrong settings on I'm still not too good with this blooming camera!

Jake and Paddy with OH, Millie was with me (i was taking the pic )

Then they saw a rabbit one of the biggest problems walking at this time of night in the summer! They are everywhere!

Paddy pinching the balls...

Paddy and Millie

Paddy going for the ball...

Millie slinking away with her ball (the boys pinch the balls, so she grabs one when she has the chance!)

Jake

I sooooo wish this was in focus

OH not happy I was taking his pic I usually just get pics of his hand

Paddy

The three of them

Racing to get the ball

Jake having a mooch

Mr Lanky

Waiting for the ball...

Still waiting

Millie

Hunting for the ball

The boys

No idea why this was as dark

I love Jake face This was him trying to get the ball and run before Paddy noticed

And heading home (note the slobber on Paddy's nose ). Millie was up ahead, she can stay off lead right until we leave the park, whereas these two monsters have to go on when we pass where the rabbit burrows are

Well done if you made it to the end We went with 3 balls, and came back with 1

Thanks His owner went to my friends to see him on Sunday, and my friend wasn't happy at all. It really unsettled Paddy, and so she asked if he definitely didn't want Paddy back and he said no that he can't cope with him, so she has told him not to go back coz it isn't fair on Paddy. The home she was hoping for him, didn't want to take on another dog (I'm not surprised and i personally didn't feel it was right of her to ask them - they lost their golden less than 2 months ago and are devasted and said they wanted to wait a long while before getting another dog). We have a few potential homes for him though

Great pics there Lozzib That Paddy's a smart dog, the way he sat right at the back there waiting for the ball to be thrown so he'd be first to get it lol! What a lovely dog he is, full of fun and mischief, don't you wish you could keep him? Jake's looking fantastic, I still can't get over the size of him now!

Another question, do you know if Paddy is from working breeding or is he a show line with a trimmed coat?

He looks like show type to me, but just hasn't got his full coat yet, some strains don't carry as much coat as others, plus he is undernourished so that will have an effect...he's only a baby so plenty of time on his side. Now that he is being so well cared for he will thrive

Lauren, don't forget I'm here to help if you need me, you're all doing a great job with Paddy, he looks so happy
