Dog hair

Just wondered if anyone has ever tried selling it, we clip Duncan 4 times a year and each time bag up the clippings and sell it on e-bay. No idea what they buy it for but we have got between £4 and £34 for each bag !

I have heard of this before, some people use it instead of wool to make jumpers...suppose it saves on the desperate attempts with sellotape to get dog hair OFF your jumper if it's actually made of dog hair

It is supposed to deter deer from coming into gardens. Groomer I used had people who came to collect it.

Googled and it seems to be for real

Could also be to mix with other material to spin into yarn

If they were willing to buy it along with all the other muck and dust that comes off my floors I could make a fortune Until I got Lana I never knew that short haired dogs could moult so much.

Oh tell me about it, Dougal is a nightmare. I can put something on brand new and it immediately has a white hair attached to it!

Don't people use it for knitting jumpers?

I know my clothes feel a lot warmer when my dogs have been laid on them - unfortunately most of my clothing is dark in the winter and Benjie is blonde - great!
