From us here Rescue's are our way.

I have to say everyone I've had (sorry except one) have been a rescue, and apart from Reah who had been both pysically and mentally abused, who took the best part of two half years to turn around, I have had no problems with any of them .

Bouncy yep had one like that, does take time to ''unbounce'' but it can be done, 8 months sounds good. Keep us posted.....love the bearded Collies

You are in a pickle now and your description is spot on re: mr bouncy - CUTE OR WHAT!

Just make the phone call and have a chat though xxx she doesn't bite

If all else fails 'toss a coin' and let lady fate do her bit!

I have had seven dogs and only two of those werent rescues. All had the personality quirks all had different issues. We never got one that we didnt have a good idea what to expect. All have been a joy. I would always try a rescue center first.

Good luck enjoy the hunt!

Ooh decisions decisions.

From a purely selfish point of view, I think you should get a longcoated GSD pup

Seriously, only you can possibly know what will fit in best with your circumstances, but I am loving hearing about the possibilities ... so keep us informed.

why dont you write down the pro's and cons of having this particular dog on paper- then you have to weigh up the more important points to you and see where he comes after that...

Got to be a rescue, to be able to give an unwanted dog a good home and change its life, or even to give it a life instead of the alternative, no choice for me anyway!

rescue rescue rescue - all the way for me too.

but like has been said its gotta be your decision. However many many rescues will have a good background and check done, so no issues.
Bruno's only issue is his dog aggression which we knew before we took him on and I could not ask for a better dog in any way ( well perhaps obedient !! LOL but you cant have everything !! hee hee )

My head hurts and I am hormonal.
