Tracy's right (Trixybird) - it's very typical. The best laid plans of mice and men, and all that......

Hugs hon - Tuesday will soon be here xxx

I'm struggling to understand why they won't let you move in without a gas meter, or is that your only means of hot water? Still, I suppose it's not toooo long to wait - annoying all the same though, I'd be spitting myself!
Big hugs to you and Icon.

Its illegal for a letting agents to allow someone to moce into the property without a gas meter, as any gas meter has to be corgi inspected.

I've found a loophole, but I think they're too thick to understand what I was trying to tell them!

Perhaps it's for the best you don't move in today. You know what they say;
"Saturday flit, short sit."

Move on a Saturday and you'll not long live there. Hope the weekend passes fast and everything goes smoothly on Tuesday!

I've moved my stuff in, but there is no electricity, no gas meter and there is a leak in the attick.....not happy!!! Never mind, been given a lovely leather 3 piece suite so thats always a good thing - Icon will have his own sofa!

Got my bed up there too now

Thinking about going shopping for things now.....

Becky come and stay with me ? xxxx

How exciting!
(Getting your things moved in and going shopping etc; not the leaky attic etc! )

You'll have everything sorted for when you do get to move in and be able to relax and enjoy the house instead of hunting through boxes for the kettle etc.
