I'm struggling to understand why they won't let you move in without a gas meter, or is that your only means of hot water? Still, I suppose it's not toooo long to wait - annoying all the same though, I'd be spitting myself!

Its illegal for a letting agents to allow someone to moce into the property without a gas meter, as any gas meter has to be corgi inspected.

I've found a loophole, but I think they're too thick to understand what I was trying to tell them!

Perhaps it's for the best you don't move in today. You know what they say;

Move on a Saturday and you'll not long live there. Hope the weekend passes fast and everything goes smoothly on Tuesday!

we moved into here on a monday, so staying here for the long haul.

I've moved my stuff in, but there is no electricity, no gas meter and there is a leak in the attick.....not happy!!! Never mind, been given a lovely leather 3 piece suite so thats always a good thing - Icon will have his own sofa!
