Takes the biscuit!

This evenings walk truly takes the biscuit for 'breed confusion'
Was on the usual course up to the stables and back round again to home (in the rain may i add) and for once i had both doglets with me, polly wanted to come this time so i gave her a go and she relished the walk, anyway *back on track* whilst on our walk we ran into a young lady with a pair of springer spaniels..Florrie and these two were playing merrily whilst Polly just stood having a sniff at some bushes...anyway was talking to ths woman about what springers are like to own (for anyone confused i'm quite intersted in springers as my next doglet) when in due course she said what are 'irish wolfhounds' like to own my response was "pardon?" and she said..you know irish wolfhounds..like your puppy, i was like "puppy?"
and then..she pointed to wee Florrie..and said yer that irish wolfhound pup of yours
After quite literally picking myself up off the floor and corrected her by saying 'no madam, shes a westie x dandie dinmont...not an irish wolfhound puppy'
the woman went away giving me quite funny looks....but seriouslly, Florrie an irish wolfhound puppy?!?!?!
