Hi

I'm going be getting a new german shepherd too in the autumn and I would like to do working trials with him too. I am in midlothian and would really appreciate any information about WT clubs in that area too.

Thanks

I have contacted the Scottish Working Trials Society - have a look at www.workingtrials.co.uk and am going to watch a trial at Lauder in May.

I have just caught up with this tread and can say that Darcreggan Dog Training Club trains and competes in Working Trials. I can't remember contact details off hand but they have a website with all the details and lots of pictures of the dogs in action. Yvonne , who runs the club , and her assistant , Helen , both have Dobermanns. Yvonne's dog , Marley , is a brown Dobe and he is CDeX in working trials. I used to go to their beginners agility with Missy , which was held just outside Gorebridge on a Sunday morning. Yvonne and Helen both went to working trials on the Sunday afternoons. I hope this is of some help to you.

Sorry , I mis-spelt the name. Darcregan should have 1g and not 2 as I originally spelled it . The web address is www.darcregan.co.uk .
