Meet Diva & Samson



Diva (top) is an 18-month-old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Samson (bottom) is a 2-year-old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross Rhodesian Ridgeback. They are looking for a new home because their previous owners were threatened with eviction if they didn't re-house them. They adore each other and would hate to be separated so are looking for a home where they can grow old together.

They are both well-behaved, friendly with everyone they meet and have excellent recall when allowed to run free in the park - which they have not been used to and really love. They hadn't previously been toilet trained having been locked out in the garden all their life, however they are now clean indoors but their new family will need to be prepared for a few accidents whilst they settle into their new home. They are an extremely affectionate pair who are full of life and fun, they enjoy playing together and with their toys. Neither of them likes to be ignored and they do not like being left alone for too long. They have been used to being left alone for long periods, but Samson sometimes howled and Diva barks. Both are fine around other dogs.

Samson is calm, gentle and fairly independent, while Diva is more clingy and can be very lively. Both are fine with older children, they haven't been tested around young children. Both enjoy being groomed and having their tummies tickled, they also enjoy their training and have been quick to learn basic commands. Their new owners will be expected to continue their training, including taking them to training classes. Their favourite treats are bits of liver or sausage and they are happy to eat dry dog food. They will need at least one hour of off-lead exercise in the park every day. They are looking for a sensible owner who has owned bull breeds before and is at home for most of the day. No doubt they will make their lucky new family very happy and will certainly keep them entertained.
