+5C today, so a nice scenic walk with Oliver :)

A gorgeous day today... well it was before we went for our walk, it clouded over just shortly before we left, so the pics aren't as nice as they could have been. None of the other dogs were up for a romp in the snow (Mouse and Boo would have been lost, Scout said hell no, and we had to drive there, so Zoe couldn't come, as she gets really carsick) So it was just Oliver today.

"Who me???"

Ollie on the hay bales... he likes showing off his athleticism

What goes up....

Must come down

And up....

annnnddddd welll

Pure joy

into the woods

what's down there???

INCOMING!!!!

And some ball catching

Where'd my ball go???

This is, I do believe, the best shot of the day!

Thanks for looking!

Wow! Your camera takes wicked action shots! Love them...especially those high in the air ones. Im tryiing to picture Luke climbing over anything other than a bed. Now I CAN see him totally enjoying marking the entire thing..every little peice of hay lol. But he's more the..."Mommmmmm...go move that obstacle for me please? MOMMMM???NOW PLEASE? Mom!!!! DO IT DAMN IT!" lol
I never get shots of him jumping either..he's never done it. Im glad though because for him it could be really dangerous. But what an athelete your boy is!

I have a wicked-ass camera! I LOVE IT! I've been experimenting with the shutter speed and such for clearer action shots... so far, I really like the results!

I know, Danes are soooo funny! You'd think, because they're so big, they'd just go over anything... but I know a lady who rescues them, and she can keep them at bay with a 3' baby gate! LOL

As many as she's fostered, she's never had one go over her 4' back fence LOL

LOL It's true...they really are quite funny. The first couple of weeks after Luke came home..he could not/would not get his back end up on the couch/bed. So every time...he'd put his front feet up, turn his head, look for me, and if I wasn't right there, he'd whine for me to come pick up his back end and push him up. Well, by 12 weeks...he was already HUGE....and heavy. I said no more of this. Learn. lol. He wasn't impressed. :P

Baby gates...he saw one for his first time last month at Mom's house. It was like..what the heck is that and I want you to move that right now! Not even an inkling in his brain to try and go over it. Same with fences. Not once has he even jumped up on the fence. So he's definitely not one of those danes that have been known to jump 6 foot privacy fences ((the reason all rescues require atleast 5 feet I guess lol))
