Thankyou everyone. They are a nice even litter sizewise, none too worrying. All have names on for lifelong homes, three with good friends of mine and the ginger staying. Sorry Dyanne

Pod..r.e the colour side of things, we 'think' dad was a large grey tom which was seen looming around. Which could hold some truth to your thinking colourwise, with grey being the dilute of black n all?
If it helps Bella is from a tortie with white markings to a presumed ginger tom [again, as with us, these are suspicions due to what has been seen marauding around!]

my thinking was also that ginger females were infertile,and the same for torty males,obviously not
