Oh bless her She looks in wonderful condition but oh how hot it must be in this heat - definitely worse wearing a black coat!!

It should cool down a little tomorrow and over the weekend. She must love evening, night and early morning - apart from the flies I guess.

Keep us informed. I feel really excited to see what her foal will look like.

Here's a photo, baby at 4hrs old:




Everything went well, only slight problem was Una decided to give birth standing up which was a bit awkward and baby was somewhat hanging by its umbilical cord til it broke away. But, baby was up and feeding pretty easily and Una is being a fab mum

STUNNING!! What a little cutie. It looks as though he/she may already have a few markings/spots on his/her rump? Una looks very calm munching away at the grass as though she has taken it all in her stride.
Please keep the photos coming, you gorgeous little one will change so much so quickly.
