SICK, SICK, SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ANY breeder who puts looks over the welfare of their dog should be banned from ever owning an animal again.

Defo not getting a pug then!
Does anyone breed a pug that.doesn't have such flat faces?

I didnt watch it but may if it mentioned Bassets, could anyone tell me if it did?

shame on the breeders that bury their head in the sand

but i fear the program will be more 'designer breed' fodder

showed a working basset compared to a 'standard' one...thats all

It touched lightly on Bassetts, showing the Bassett of years ago and the ones that are around now, and saying they should go back to how they were years ago. Other breeds were mentioned and highlighted by photos too.

I think it was very fair. Showed good breeders, explained that some good breeders had been aghast at the last programme. Showed what the KC had done and ended by pointing out that the KC are not in a position to help enough.

The members of the independant committees etc were all in agreement it seems.

Also good that it pointed out that it was more or less a worldwide problem.
