Mirk Update.

Its good news again.

Mirk has not done any dribbling or unplanned weeing at all since last Thursday. His beds have been dry each night and there are no more "wet lines" on the floor

It seems it really was testosterone related and the prostrate must be decreasing in size and no longer pressing on his urinary tract and bladder. brill brill brill.

His toilet training is still not going 100% according to plan, but at least now he is only weeing when he needs to, we can control his intake, so we can control his output.

When I look back now, I can see how much of his back end weakness, possibly his funny turns? His lethargy and possibly even his inability to put on weight could have been down to his prostrate problem??? Presumably he has been in pain all this time??? He certainly seems even brighter still now he is on regular pain relief and his infection has cleared.

its been a long and at times arduous and very wet journey, to arrive at this point, but now at last it finally seems like we have got to a point where we really understand Mirks medical stuff.

Its been like a big jigsaw and its great to see it unravelling. And its even better to see Mirk get Better and better and better.

Thanks you to all of you for your support. Denise and Mirk xxx

What fantastic news - you have tried so hard with this dog, and it's good to see such devotion and determination rewarded.

Well done you.

More good news I am really pleased that Mirk's medical problems are being sorted out - no doubt, he will become an even happier lad than he is already
