His Story: Ky has been through 5 homes and failed only due to his big heart with associated energy. Locked up for his first 5 months then in 'easy homes' where his gardens offered open access to go and meet, shaped his character. He lived with puppies and very young children successfully. Ky is a medium sized Staffie x who has been homed for 6 months, but has an over-zealous quest for the outside life. Neutered, vax'd and chipped.

Homing Requirements: Ky has an excellent temperament with people and proven with young children. He is intelligent, learns fast and now has a broad repertoire of skills. Ky spent his first 5 months locked in a small room fed on scraps; then escaping gardens as he moved through homes within the same district. Ky carries this quest for freedom so exits need conscious management. Doesn't try over 6 panel fences in his home. Needs active lifestyle' and is now responding to continued lead training. Meets dogs generally well, but can be a little full on. Ky needs a dog experienced family who are ready to work with him to gain connectivity and manners outside so he meets dogs with less gusto.

Advert: Ky is a wonderful medium size crossbreed who loves to meet and is so affectionate with family and friends. He has grown up around very young children and shared his life with 2 different pups as a young dog. Smiling and on occasions laughing- Ky settled in his home environment and adores his owners. Sadly however Ky still carries those early memories of a bid for freedom and will dash for doors. He is trained to command, but if exits aren't managed well he will run off and chasing is a great game! This has happened 3 times in his current home and yes he will come over, but once he has run off some stream. He has proven time and time again to be an excellent family dog - with children of all ages and most dogs outside. His energy is full-on and gushing in saying I love you! Yes, I really, really, do!

Ky is the Jack of Hearts ... people love him and he loves them. His energy levels are high and he seems to be approaching about 'the year mark' in his development which has been held back. Ky has the friendly Staffie nature. Ky offers those essential ingredients to bring the real elements of family life and fun together. So exchange the tellies for the wellies, the sofa for the park bench!
