My furry angels

People asked to see some pics of Beans. Sadly, he died soon after I posted about him and I never posted any pictures.
So here are my little angels, watching over me from the bridge

Eddy (died May 2010 aged 15 and a half)

His last walk with us, we had arranged for the vet to come to the house to have him put to sleep when we got home from this walk. One of the hardest walks ever.

Beans (died aged 1 year, November 2011)

Bubble and Beans got their beds confused!

The two Bs were practically inseparable:

His visit to my great aunt who is very frail and can't have a dog of her own. The joy he brought her on this visit made me decide to do PAT with him once I'd had him long enough. Sadly, we never got that far

I bought him a lovely new bed and he chose an old basket to sleep in

What gorgeous pics Lottie.
Thank you so much for posting.
That pic of you and Eddie brought a lump to my throat as did the one of Beans with your Aunt.
They both brought so much love and joy to your life as you did to theirs xx

It's brought a lump to my throat looking at them. I still haven't posted any pics of my old Charlie Girl (the dog that was responsible for me finding this forum) and she died over 3yrs ago. I couldn't even use the forum for ages afterwards.

They are beautiful dogs. You were lucky to have Eddy for 15 yrs. That is an adorable photo of Beans with your aged auntie. What caused Beans to die so young?

Tangutica, I only had Eddy for 4 years as we rescued him aged 11 and a half. However, we were very lucky to have him for 4 years as, when we got him we thought we'd only have him 6 months, he was not only old, but not in a particularly good way when he first came to us, but he just improved so much with a proper diet, better exercise and my girls (particularly Takara) to keep him young!

Beans died on Sunday evening, totally unexpected, I came home to find him fitting and rushed him to the emergency vets. Three hours later I had to go back and hold him in my arms while he was put to sleep because they couldn't get his multiple seizures under control. They said he developed epilepsy
