Thundery Tuesday 20th June 2023

Wow what a lovely thunder and lightning display this morning. I love a good thunder storm. Hope you all had a good night and not flooded. Some places I see are not havng a good time of the wet stuff. Kelly what was the tv programme that you heard Worthing mentioned on? Nice to know you thought of me. Right off to do something, no idea what. Keep thinking of going to places I remember as a young person but not sure. Sometimes it isn't good to go backwards? As to putting a post in your garden Barry, surely there is a boundary line on the deeds? Cheeky neighbours. Have a good day everyone.

Morning Brenda!
It was this morning and Matthew Wright was getting into an ice bath, he made a comment about it being the temperature of the sea at Worthing but quickly changed his mind lol....much colder!
Brenda, the line on your deeds aren't accurate, they sadly aren't how they used to be where they actually stated measurements and according to our judge, they stand for nothing as do 2 surveyors reports.
Started doing a 16/8 fast a couple of days ago, I am actually surprised I have stuck to it, doubt it will do me any good but running out of options

Morning brenda, griff and all to follow.
Busy day yesterday first day back looking after Freya since being ill. Her and Lauren have both lost weight due to being so under the weather.
Lauren has lots of little pin prick marks left of the rash mostly on the fronts of her feet.
We managed to get Freya to eat a rusk, a banana a fairy cake and some hot cross bun yesterday, also she takes her banana flavoured ab's in her milk and thinks it's a milkshake.
She is quite needy at the moment to be expected, so we didn't get much time to ourselves like we usually do.

Today after nearly giving up we have managed to connect the security cameras to the new wifi. Just the printer left. Bedrooms are all done just a picture to hang and move some things to storage boxes and the the cabin which I will be tidying later.
Tomorrow Bev is popping in for a cuppa so much to catch up particularly their caravan adventures and Thursday a friend is popping in with some puppy harnesses, a soft crate for travelling while small and to bring Brewster home in and a puppy pushchair so we can take him out to socialise while taking care of his joints.
Oh yes and must ring the vet we want to register him with.
Holiday shopping we will do at the end of the week. Everything crossed Mark stays well, he is so tired working and keeping the house running and looking after Lauren and Freya when getting home.We raised two good boys even if we say so ourselves.

Sorry if I haven't caught up with everyone's news from yesterday.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Good morning Brenda, Kelly and Lynn

Hope you are ok Kelly and not overdoing it.

Poor Freya and Lauren do hope they are completely recovered by the time you go on holiday and that Mark doesn't go down with it. Ooh puppy organisation, not long now.

Yes heavy rain and thunder early this morning. On the way to Ben's it was like night. I left home with the sun trying to come out and then hit the rain and thunder. Fortunately it had stopped by the time the girls went to school. Teazle walked and library visited now for a coffee.

Take care everyone.

Morning all

Nothing to report here going to spend the day doing NOWT maybe read maybe watch TV its raining outside and doing my garden the power of good so not complaining.

Brenda You sound like my sister she adores thunder storms glad you enjoyed yours. Why not go back a good memory is a good memory but if not sure why not go somewhere nearby your memory location.

Griff The mist yesterday was about 5ish in the morning I suspect you have the rain today as well. Hope your new eating habits suit you.

Lynn All action and visits you are enjoying your retirement as you should. I do like the name BREWSTER suits your breed very well. Glad the girls in your life are on the up. This will be your last holiday without a dog WOW

Sue How far do you travel to your lads and the girls? hope the weather stays clear or you.

Chris Teddy fan club love it. How is your daughter doing? and does she see any improvement with the warmer weather?

Catch you all later

Sue I hate driving in the dark and rain, dreading the winter drives to Look after Freya.
We will be doing it on our own this winter.
Yes nearly there with puppy organisation.
Yes Kazz I am going to try to find a reliable home sitter if our friend who does it to top up her pension isn't available so we can have one week away with Mark and family and the odd hop to Madrid.

Brewster is chosen as his kennel name is that of a discontinued old beer, his affix is Oakbern and the name ties in nicely with both when beers were brewed and stored in oak barrels before the invention of glass and aluminium and the word brewer comes into it also.
Registered him with the vet earlier too.

Nothing like being ready for the new addition to your family Lynn. Just finished playing scrabble and the word for today is Cullet: Used up melted glass.

Brenda never ever heard of that word before but will store it away for scrabble games.

Lynn I am dog sitting a neighbours CKCS 1st and 2nd July she is going to her sons in York he is married to an American and they are having a 4TH July get together the weekend before first time all 5 of her sons have been together due to their locations since her husband died. So the sons who normally have Harry (CKCS) when she is on holiday/ travelling are going too so she has asked me.

Burt is going to continue coming here every couple of weeks for a day just in case anything happens with Sue and she needs him to go somewhere, think it is a good idea myself. So now adding Harry into my mix - have I found a new "hobby/lifestyle" one asks ones self.

Does your friend do it privately?
