My first pictures of the decade.

Well I went to walk the dogs today, but where I wanted to walk them is closed for the winter but I can see why (although I have a rant from that that I will write a thread about), so I walked the dogs through the water meadow, as I released that they haven't been there yet, but they had to stay onlead (again watch out for another rant) and then I walked around another lake, but again they had to stay onlead, as there was fisherman around, so I didn't really take many pics of them today, but here are some pics that I did take,

These two are from the walk to the water meadow.

These ones are from the water meadow, but because of all the snow it has actually flooded , this is one of the ways in,

Thats a raised path, but not raised enough apparently.

The fence lining the raised path.

Under control but not looking on a bench

What are you doing now mum??

They are wagtails getting bugs that are on top of the ice, but my camera wouldn't zoom in anymore

The closet picture I could get of a heron

Then we got onto the lake,

And it was frozen

A family of coots slipping across the ice,

A array of water birds, including some swans, a aylesbury duck and some mallards, although some of the mallards had funny markings, so I think that they was mallard crosses.

This guy in the middle had funny markings but I couldn't get any closer to him.

And the guy in this photo too,

I'm liking this bird watching, now tell me what one were having for dinner, and I'll go and get it for you!!!

More frozen lake.

Then I saw this guy swimming under the ice.

A black headed gull in its winter feathers.

What have you got there??

I wish that the photos turned out better, but I thought that I would share them, thanks for looking.
