just had some bad news.......

my lovley friend who loves my dogs has just informed me she has cancer not just the usual cancer BUT from asbestos! shes nearly 41 and when going thru her lofe to see where she could have got it from it seems that when she was younger she worked in a factory soldering circuit boards! i remember doing that! How unlucky is that. she has had some fluid drained from her lung as it was pushing her heart over to the other side.
she may have to have a lung removed after radio and chemo but its on her chest as well and cos its so thin on her chest they cannot operate.

do you or anyone you know cme across this shes failry calm and says shes just got to get on with it shes married with 2 teenage kids. i know asbestos cancer will be terminal but not sure about how long and dont want to ask.

its so sad shes such a great person do anything for anyone i feel so angry.

sorry but i had to just write this down xx

aw hun, sorry i dont know much....but apparently she can claim compensation. I know its not a popular choice with some...but the family will be without her, so will need extra support the payout could provide...

Its horrible that life always tend to treat the best people badly!

hugs

Alex

So sorry to read about your poor friend, what a shock that must have been for her too. I don't have any knowledge or advice to offer I'm afraid, I just want to wish her all the luck in the World with her treatments.
