Gills home

She came home yesterday. I popped in to see her today on the way to Mums, she is very sore and weepy, but as I told her you have been through a lot in the last year and I am sure it is normal to be tearful after any operation let alone one as big as you have just gone through.
We also had a laugh together and I dropped her pressies for her Birthday over which was on Sunday.
She has a very big scar and the staples start coming out Thursday.

That was quick Lynn, they must be very pleased with their work and her progress to let her home that quickly. I'm not surprised she's in tears, her poor body has been through so much of late, I'm sure it's quite normal to cry at such a time don't you? Probably a lot of it is pure relief that it's all over now, especially as you made her laugh. I'm really pleased. Now it's just your dear old Mum to help out, so all the best to you.xxxx

No surprise she's weepy, Lynn. I've had major surgery twice, and cried like a total baby at the slightest thing both times for weeks afterwards.
Delighted she's home. xxxx
