Wednesday 24th August 2022

Morning all. Hope this finds you all ok after a drizzly day yesterday. I am still battling with a friend trying to explain that she must lose weight off her dog. She doesn't seem to realise that even the treats add weight. Hey ho. Anyway been for a lovely walk although still muggy out and grey. Have a good day.

Good morning Brenda

Sometimes there is no getting through to people with regards to their dog's diet. I have a problem with Barry and giving Teazle biscuits. They are only small but two/three at a time is not good so I have stopped giving her any myself. Pleased you enjoyed your walk.

Up early and out withTeazle as had to be at Ben's before 8.30 am. Youngest granddaughter has gone out with a friend and her family for the day and I have the eldest here. Now that she has been fed some toast and jam she is human again Might go down to the beach this afternoon with her.

Hope all are well. Take care.

Hello everyone.
We have a friends Bernese staying she has been here since 12th August.
She is such a good girl, she is 6.

Lauren brought Freya around yesterday, Freya is a little frightened of dogs but Betsy helped.
She lies in the bathroom and Freya crawled to the edge of the living room and peeped round the corner all was fine till Betsy laid her head down and Freya scarpered back to Lauren a little upset.

We have had a couple of weeks off due to them being on holiday so catching up on a lot of things and some outings with Betsy.

Chris I hope you're enjoying your well deserved rest.
griff hope your nights have been more peaceful.
Sue I'm guessing you have been very busy throughout the Summer holiday.
brenda sounds like you are enjoying your early morning walks. Hope the new custom for dog training works out.
Hope you're having a good day Kazz.

H Lynn, good to have you back on. The new customer never got back to me. Never mind these things happen with owners. Warm down here this afternoon.

Good afternoon all

Wow, it's humid today

Haircut far better than expected - love it

Electric sockets in shed now finished and up and running

I've given up on having a rest where Gary is concerned Lynn. No matter how much I try, he comes up with things almost daily that need sorting out (usually computers, tablets or watches). Today, however, it's his vibrating doorbell pad. I'm guessing that's going to need a call to the supplier to find out how to sort it out.

Still waiting for the guy who came out to weigh up the front garden to actually give us some quotes. I hope he doesn't let us down. Wouldn't be the first time as reliable work people are thin on the ground here

I have a collie cross to walk in September for a couple of days. That will be fun as he can be unpredictable with passing or even seeing some dogs on the other side of the road. lol!!
