Barbies, and fires

We had a barbie to celebrate my Bro and his good lady's up coming wedding.

It rained!

But we carried on anyway...the wine took an age to drink, and seemed to get weaker...

The garden looked nice when the rain stopped

And we had a fire, which was nice.

However.
When I got home I discovered...

We had another fire

Some muppet had set fire to the big rubbish bin.

I called the fire brigade, and our response team, then opened the security shutters and dragged the bin out, to limit the damage.

The fire brigade turned up, and filled the bin to the brim with water.
Then the Response Team turned up, looked, and left.
Leaving me to drain the bin, put it away, secure the shutters and tidy up.
They are on £15 per hour. I don't get a bloody penny!

I've had better...
Forgot to mention that on the way to the barbie, some stoned little foetus on an illegal quad 'bike knocked me rissole over brisket. This AM I have a lovely purple bruise on my leg. I may take it to B&Q and get some paint mixed up the same colour, it seems to match my sheets and duvet rather well
On the other hand I now have a nice almost new shiny fridge freezer, so I can eat properly again, and today is Grand Prix day, so I have that to look forward to, and last night's episode of Dr Who recorded even after the pompous twits on the bbc shunted the times around because of some ridiculous football match.
So all is well

'mornin'!
