If you can find a pc bod who can 'piggy back' your system they may be able to retrieve your address book and documents etc

Good luck -I lost all mine a while back -it takes ages to find everyone again

Think I have found the Address Book, but, everytime I click one of the icons to open a window comes up....... Open In, options are Paint, Wordpad, Imaging etc, have tried but none of these will do anything............I have noticed that my Word/Office/Excel etc are missing from my main Icon page(first page when Computer boots) so could this mean that there isn't anything that I can open this to yet as I possibley have to restore Word/Excel/Office etc.

Does that make any sense???????? ops:

if u go to www.microsoft.com it might have some info on there to help u. or if u get a virus message, u can type the name of the virus and it might be able to tell u how to get rid of it.

Sweep I am useless at computer things but if you go to Google and type in 'Win 32' it tells you all about it. Also if you want to 'retrieve an email address book' type that in to Google and it will prob tell you what to do You can do this with any fault and it will come up with people with a similar fault, my only problem is I am to thick to understand what it is telling me to do and have to wait till son with a brain comes

Hmmm, I'm not likely to be a lot of help with this, as I use a Mac, which is very different in the way it works. However, when you do succeed (and I'm sure you'll manage something), MAKE A BACKUP COPY and keep it on a floppy or CDRW in case thing go wrong again sometime.
