Heavy Breathing....

Hi ... My Black Lab is 53 days Pregnant and Heavy Breathing a lot on resting. This is 1st litter... is this normal due to pregnancy or could she be starting early labour?? She mated on 21st August. She also had some clear jelly type stuff come away 2 days ago on her bed in lounge. But no panting unless she's just had her walkies. Would appreciate feedback regarding this thank you.

Some dogs exhibit some signs early. Not in every case but in most the best sign is a drop in the dog's temprature. Usually this means the pups will be born in less than 24 hours. Maybe she has a large litter, have known bitches who did not manage a walk in last few days just out in garden for a potter & toilet.
