Eddy was attacked this afternoon

by a field mouse

There he was minding his own business with his nose to the ground (again) when the field mouse, who's back he had sniffled over, decided he was having none of it and went for his nose!!

You should have seen my old boy jump!! I just can't believe the big pansy!

Takara then ran over to see what the fuss was and spent a while playing with the mouse, trying to play as though it was a dog, but much more gently, biting the air near it's face and play bowing

I've never seen a mouse like it, it stood up on it's back legs fighting her back and squeaking - the only thing that could've made it funnier was if the silly little thing was wearing boxing gloves! Obviously, I called her away before she gave the poor thing a heart attack!

Dogs - aren't they great!

I was! But I was also worried that T would hurt the mouse. She didn't seem to want to, until today I'd never seen her wrestle a mouse but it was pretty hilarious!

Eddy stood there being a total wuss.

Stupid, I think

When it had had enough and I had called Takara away it hid in the grass so Rowdy, who was still looking for it, couldn't find it- the silly thing started squeaking and nearly got himself turned into lurcher lunch!
