It has been one week exactly to the minute that I had to let you go and I miss you more everyday.

You brought such great joy to my life

You were not a dog to me but a beautiful, gentle, loving soul who chose me and blessed me with your love.

I don't know where you are now and I don't know how you are now but I hope with all my being that you are not suffering and that your huge smile and thirst for life is back on your beautiful face.

I can not forgive myself for what happened to you and i know you did not want toleave but I will always look for you every day in the hope that I may see or feel you again.

It's so hard without you my little boy.

It has been two weeks to the hour since you had to leave and the pain of your loss is as sharp now as it was on the day.

I am new here so didn't know you or Harvey. I don't know how or the circumstances of you having to let him go but I am sure that they never really leave us, their spirit stays with us, the body, like someone else said, is just their overcoat. I am sure that when your time comes to pass, Harvey will be there waiting for you. Meanwhile he will still be keeping an eye on you, talk to him, he will be able to hear you.
I have a spiritualist friend who assures me that when our pets pass, they go to the same place we do because they have souls as we do.
