My choices
BMD's
GSD's
Afghan Hound
Golden Retriever
and, when I am in my dotage a Cavalier to sit on my lap.
There are lots of other dogs I have looked at but must admire from a distance: Malamutes, Newfies, St Bernards, Spinones, RR's, Mastiff's............, like Lynn said not enough lifetime left to own all I would want.

Only five? LOLI would put a list, but, I love far too many!
In fact, I love most dogs, apart from a few which will remain anonymous!!! 
Oh, but I particularly love PUGS
ROTTIES 
Basenjis, Akitas, Kooikerhondje, NSDTR, Italian Greyhound...
