How to tire out a spotty dog...

I can't promise this would work for every spotty dog... it may just be that Takara is particularly lazy... but it works for her!

8am - Go walkies, play ball, train pet obedience, play ball
9am - leave the park and go to the car. Drive to work
9:20 - get to work, send dogs in the back and feed them, open up
9:30 - shop is open, get some work done whilst spotty sleeps off walkies and breakfast
11am - practice some training
1pm - Arrives aunty who spotty loves. Cue excited spotties
1:15 - Aunty leaves, send spotties back to bed
2:30 - order side orders from pizza hut for delivery, knowing dinner will be very late - share garlic bread with spotties (obviously)
2:45 - play fetch with spotty
3pm - send spotty back to bed
4:30 - leave the shop (early because no customers)
5:15 - get home, let spotties out in the garden and feed them dinner (less for Takara because she is going training)
6pm - take spotty (Takara) to the park. Play ball, train and meet lots of dogs. Meet rottie x and an English mastiff and still have Takara who would usually run back to the car! Meet Bridie border terrier and quickly grab tennis ball before she steals it, have a good old romp with Bridie and run each other ragged.
7pm - back to the car and onto training class
7:30 - training starts. Let mum work with spotty while I take the class and then at various intervals leave her crated in another room to bark and bark until she gets bored! Keep working with her throughout the night.
9pm - pop to tesco, wait outside tesco with spotty for socialisation whilst mum shops
9:30 - Get back and make a drink
9:40 - Stop overtired spotty from humping bed and encourage her onto it

Now she's fast asleep in her bed... comatosed! All is good!!

I wish... when on anticoagulants and antibiotics stiff drinks are pretty much out of the question...

Please don't tempt me!

Going to bed now as I think I'm probably more tired than the dog!

Takara's just woken up and is trying to look at me but can't lift her head LOL!

Oh we did Fudgeley!

lol thanks Lene... I try! It's sometimes a bit too hard to have the get up and go to go for walkies after the shop but neither of them care anyway... I did forget that Eddy went for a little wander around the block with me too before I took T out... both of them would be happy to get home and collapse in bed!

Tonight I've ducked out of my responsibilities and am not planning to go to ringcraft... instead I shall do deliveries, get home and take Takara for some park socialisation instead - my sister's invited me over for dinner and it sounds much more appealing than driving half an hour to the other side of Sheffield and then sitting on my own with Takara and working to keep her calm!

Hope the dinner went well. I think I should send fudge to you for tiring out. She is stuck in one room apart from walks and is bouncing off the Walls. She stands and sings to the builders through the baby gate if I go out and leave her.
