I must admit when the OH took me for a drive round Exmoor the other week for the first time and we stopped and looked at the ponies and me being a bit dense said "isn't it weird how they're not penned in, it must take their owner ages to find them if they need to"

Rich just looked at me and started laughing. Took him about 10 minutes to stop laughing before he explained they were wild. I felt rather stupid! I wasn't born in the Westcountry was my excuse!!
