I missed this completely - hope this doesn't put you off doing more in the future!

I had the opposite problem. I auctioned a pet portrait for TRPD and the lady who won paid promptly but then hasn't sent me the photographs to do it with! She's kept in touch, but it was getting on for a year ago! Oh well, at least the cause got their money.
