Rescue - Dalkeith

My Daughter works next to a Flower Shop. The woman there has a Welsh Collie who had a litter 15 mths ago and the male dog is with her.

However, it's medium/high energy and it doesn't get walked much. Has a very good tempremant. Our Daughter has been on at us to take it and the owner would like us too as she knows how well we take care of our dogs.

Thing is, the stage that Lady is at, I don't think we are ready and I'm worried about how it might affect our older boy Tomas.

It seems that if we don't take it, it might go to a rescue centre.

Any advice, or indeed, anyone here interested??

Could you perhaps meet it a few times with your dogs and see how they all get on before you make a decision

I would say if you don't feel ready, don't let your daughter and neighbour put pressure on you.

They could try Dog Aid Soceity Scotland. They're not that far from you. The dogs stay with their families until a suitable home is found, so the dog doesn't have to go into kennels/rescue.
