alva show

Hi there,
We are going along to a Golden Retriever show in Alva(Scotland) tomorrow to get a look at some dogs and get some information about them.
Do you think breeders/exhibitors will be too focused on the show to speak to us or will some be happy to help us find a suitable puppy?
We are treating it as a nice day out but hopefully we can make some useful contacts.

Most are only too willing to help, you get some who aren't as helpful. However the more you speak to the better.Usually the best time to speak to them is after they have been in the ring.
Hope you have a nice time and find what you are looking for.lol

Thanks boobah, I'll try and remember to speak to people after they have been in the ring (hadn't thought of that). I'm looking forward to it no matter what happens.
We are going to see the retrievers in the morning and cocker spaniels in the afternoon,(a kennel which i've never used).
It's definetly decision time
It's a win win situation
