Westies skin condition

Just come back from vets picking up my Westie's Piriton tablets! the price has gone from £2.97 for 42 to £9.97, the reason was they are unable to obtain Piriton so have given me substitute that happens to be more expensive! I had to pay the money over as we had run out of our supply but dont want to pay this price, PLEASE does anyone know where I can purchase without prescripton main active ingrediant must be Chlorphenamine 4mg. Thanks in anticipation

I buy Tesco's own brand for my dog - £2.20 (I think) for 30. Just don't tell them they are for your dog or they won't sell them to you!

That's ridiculous price, Chlorphenamine is the non branded version of Piriton and is much much cheaper. Shame on your .vet! Go into any chemist and ask for Chlorphenamine (refuse Piriton) - my chemist sells it for 1.99 for 28 tablets.

I buy Piriton for my Westie from Asda their own make and it contains Chlorphenamine but as Fivedogpam says don't tell them it's for your dog they will definitely NOT sell it to you do what I do, fib, say it's for yourself.
