Rhodi's Birthday Treat--A SWAN!

As a birthday treat, we took Rhodi to the Beach.
His first time there, and what did he encounter????

Then the Herding instinct kicked in!!

I had to put the phone away----Running and Shouting---"Run Rhodi"
It worked, and he came back! Phew!
It was a Great Day.

I guess that was Rhodi's first encounter with a swan!!!

What a great photo opportunity. I've only seen swans on the sea once before - down in Cornwall.

But here in Cyprus there is a place that keeps Pelicans on the beach road heading to Limassol - they have a great 'house and pool' for them and they have the freedom of the terraces and down to the beach too.

It looks REALLY odd seeing Pelicans in the sea!

*swans - they ain't afraid of anything are they?

Hi ya Darcy Boy..Yes i think so!! Theway he reacted, it would Certainly seem that way. He was funny enough, with the Giany Seagull's flying over Mum and Dad's house,. He couldn't take his eyes off those.
He was looking at the nesting Robin...a bit funny yesterday.
Maybe he was thinking All Birds grow that big! Just hope he doesn't try and get her, while she's still small!
