Thanks Maureen, I'll update when we hear from the vets. He's been bouncing around like a 4 stone puppy with my sisters dog today and looking very well so it cant be anything too serious hopefully.

Thank you both. it seems to come and go, for a week or so he'll be just fine and then he'll limp for a week. Just hope they can find the problem so we can have a chance at getting it fixed and making him happy on walks again. It doesnt effect his zoomies in the garden luckily

*****update*********

Well we have had a call from the vets but still none the wiser. Nothing standing out on the scan, he has a tiny corn on one pad that we have to keep an eye on but other than that they are a little confused as to what is causing the limp. The scan has been sent off to be scrutinized by another specialist so more waiting and wondering... in the mean time we have to try and get some decent video of him on a bad day...

Oh silly Philly, what ever is going on???
It's so frustrating not having a definate answer. Lets hope the next specialist can come up with something.
In the mean time, loads of hugs from us xx

It really is frustrating, feel like we are in limbo. Got to try walking him on different surfaces (grass, pavement etc) and see if he has preferences. I'm half feeling happy its nothing major but then if its nothing obvious perhaps that means it might not be something easy to fix... Just hope they can find whats wrong.

Thanks for the hugs, much appreciated.

sorry I missed this...

I hope some one somewhere can give you some answers, but sometimes time is a great healer.
Hope Philly is soon on the mend and is back to his racing around self,
Hugs from me and mine.
