We always call them wolf spiders, we get alot in our house. Not sure if that is a technical name though.

Really isn't anything to be scared of, they wont hurt you. Even the big one will run and hide at the slightest movement. Only got that picture 'cos it was 6 in the morning....he is normally hiding in his shelter during the day.

It had 7 legs to!

Hannah had called it 'Lucky' and got really sad when she thought Breagh had eaten it.

I'm getting worse with spiders, I used to not be too bad but it's the legs, and I swear they're getting bigger. I've seen some huge ones about!

It's that time of year....breeding time. You're seeing the males out and about looking for mates. Males tend to have longer legs, making them look really big. Females tend to be stockier.
