What a sad life I have..

A Poundland is opening down the street and I can't wait One has just opened at The Fort in Glasgow and I was there today buying some bits and bobs. Who else loves the shop?

I love ours too! Thats a 99p store.
Some of it is tat but you can get some great stuff in there. The toiletries are great and the seasonal stuff saves me a fortune.

Should I be ashamed to say that I love Poundland too. I'm not a cheapskate or a snob but you can get some really good brands in there for a fraction of the price you can elsewhere, such as Tesco and Boots etc! Obviously there is plenty of cheap crap in there, but some of it is really good!

We got our kitchen and bathroom floor tiles in there. Just as good as the B&Q ones. Mum got plant pots too. Loads cheaper and do the job the same. I'll be in there everyday

Yes, me too. I used to buy all my specs there. Since moving over here I have found the todo shop, similar to the pound shops but a little bit more expensive but worth a visit anyway. I love a bargain.

Me, me, me, me, me! I love ours. We have a "Poundland", "Everything's a Pound" (although I think that one is closing soon) and "The 99p Store" where the old, absolutely huge, Woolworths was.

How they all stay in business I'll never know but they're all within a 5 minutes drive. They're actually within walking distance (for those without stumpy legs) but if you want to buy stuff then (for me anyway) you'd need the car to get back.
