I absolutely love mine.......dont know how I managed before

I was also skeptical as I used to love trolling round bookstores but being able to download book after book instantly more than makes up for this.

Also I have found books that I would never have read if I didnt have my Kindle

Celli, I just finished reading Name of the Wind. I really enjoyed it I've just downloaded the second one and will probably start it today. Bit worries when he'll publish the finally book though as there was four years between book one and two

My mother got one a couple of weeks ago and it has been a godsend for her in hospital. She can't read lots at a time but it saves the page and she only needs one arm to use it.

I have read more since getting one than for many years.

What I have also done is downloaded a new edition of a book that I already own.

I love my Herbs book by the Tilfords but it was from 1999, I have just uploaded the revised edition 2010, this means I can still enjoy reading my large coffee table book including the colour illustrations, but also have up to date info on my Kindle.

I got one a few weeks ago and absolutely love it. It's so much easier to read with kindle in one hand and other hand free to drape over Rosie while she's asleep with her head on my knee .

I didn't think I'd take to it, but now, I wouldn't be without it.

I wondered how you got on, glad you enjoyed it

I loved it so much I've filed the name "Reshi " away as possible dog name.

I'm worrying he'll do a GRRM on us and we'll have to wait donkey's for the final book

I just got the Kindle Touch today, Ed decided he wanted a Kindle after all, so he took my one and I got a Touch, the text to speech is mental, it's like having your Satnav read you a story

Did you know what a name for a group of kittens is?

Answer= kindle!

Jamie told me this the other night from his trivia game.
