Very interesting SB I guess it is the same principle as swaddling babies (for those who do not know wrapping a baby up tight in a shawl so it feels safe and secure like being held by mum)

I have in the past made something a bit like this coat to put on spayed bitches to prevent knibbling stitches, the look on their faces said they did not think much of it though
Would try anything rather than medication for dogs or children

That's an interesting article SB. I would love to hear from anyone who tried it to see if it works. I heard something similar for children who had problems. It was like swaddling like you said Minihaha, but a bigger swaddle. The parent's said it worked wonders...

My aunt's dog runs out the doggie door during thunderstorms, and then rips the pickets off the fence and escapes I'll tell her about this. Maybe we'll hear from her if it works. I know she's desperate because the dog usually escapes during the storms that happen when she's not home .
