wasp stings

On a staffy site i visit there was a post today saying how someones staffy had died after suffering a reaction after a wasp sting!!They advised giving a childs dose of piriton if this happens to minimise an allergic reaction like this!!Just thought id let you lot know, i went out and bought some today!!

my rottie got stung,been treating him with lav oil,gonna take him vets 2morro as worried bout him

I use antihistamines too for any reactions Star has.

aah jackie his breathing and airways are ok though aren't they?I think thats what causes the probs when theycant breathe!!hope hes ok soon jackie!!

just think it,s abit sore as we had to get it out and them clean the area
he,s a big baby really for a rottie

To ease the stings use:

Bicarbonate of soda for Bee stings
Vinegar for wasps.

Although this won't help any allergic reaction, it should ease the pain.

aww sb that looks so painful
our rottie was stung on the side of his neck so we don,t think he was chasing it or anything
