Ones I watched as a kid in Canada-Bonanza, Rin-Tin-Tin, Razzle-Dazzle....British ones- Brushstrokes, Butterflies, Stella Street, Die Kinder....there were so many great ones

and does anyone remember Pipkins? A childrens' programme on at lunchtimes, it used to be followed by the Cedar Tree or the Sullivans (a family during the Second World War).

Isn't it strange how things have dated, and how we've all moved on, especially including such programmes as 'Watch your language' - cringeworthy now.

OOh I don't remember Hickory's House. But I do remember Rainbow. I used to have a crush on Jeffrey and wanted to marry him when I grew up , as long as he ditched Rod, Jane and Freddy who were an annoying intrusion into my viewing.

I used to watch Rainbow with my kids LMAO

As to Pipkins ...I HATED it ...don;t know why

Used to love The Sullivans - Australian soap I seem to remember and The Cedar Tree was good. Also Painting with nancy , Emmerdale Farm and Crown Court ...all of these were on at lunchtime at 1pm I seem to remember ..when day time TV first started (No morning TV then though LOL)

lol-no such chance Katrina! It was apparently made as a christmas joke for the production crew by all the normal cast back in the late 70's and was never supposed to see the light of day outside the studio!
